Campaign Story
Hi all,
In 2016 my mom started having problems with her left eye. She thought it was just a minor thing but as time went by, she lost her eyesight completely. Towards the end of 2017 she started losing her sight completely in the other one. She is now blind in both eyes. She has gone to government clinics but could not get help. The only option now would be a specialist, and given she does not have insurance, this comes with a high cost. Between the initial consultation and the surgery, estimates are around 15,000.
As her daughter, I want to do whatever I can to help her gain her vision back to be able to experience life, her family, her grandchildren. I have a son who is 7 months old and she has never seen him. which is why I have put this campaign together. Any assistance you could provide would be appreciated beyond measure. Thank you from me and my entire family.
Love,
Monia
