Please help my mother Alice unblock her airway

Hi my name us Alicia Bandoy. I need help and support for my mothers surgery.

My mother Alice is a 75-year old woman who loves and enjoys to be with her family especially with her grandchildren. On November 2020, I brought her to the hospital because of some throat pain, and was diagnosed with an infection. After a 3-day confinement she was released.

Recently, she was complaining of how difficult it is for her to swallow solid food that is why I am giving her blended food. A week ago, I brought her to the physician because I cannot bear to see her pain any longer. The doctor checked on her and found out that there is a mass of flesh, coming from her soft palate and blocking her airway near her uvula. It is painful for her to swallow solid food and it is also causing her difficulty in breathing. The solution he recommended was to undergo a surgery. However, the surgery needs a bigger amount of money. Her doctor told us to prepare around Php350,000.00. This includes the expenses for PCR tests, transportation (ambulance plus nurse who will accompany us to the referral hospital), accommodation, medical tests, and other medical expenses because the surgery will be held in Tacloban City since we don't have hospitals here and experts on that kind of illness and with complete facilities and equipment. Given this pandemic time, it is very difficult to save and accumulate a huge amount of money.

Because of that, I am knocking and begging on your kind hearts to help me with this surgery. I am hopeful that it can give her a few more years to live her life the way she had it before. It is not easy to see a mother suffering the way she is suffering right now.
