Campaign Story
Hi my name is Michelle Hugee and I am located in Nacogdoches,TX. I never imagined that I would be using this platform to raise funds, but it is not on my behalf, it is a desperate quest to help a very dear friend of mine.
You see my friend is a determined spirit, and a hard working human being that has always been committed to following his dreams and even taking whatever risks necessary to follow that dream, and make it a reality. That is why he decided to come to America to start a new business and a new life.
It all started when he decided to use his own bank where he resides in London to transfer funds that had been honestly earned from a contract job in India to a U.S account for the business he desired to build. He was asked to provide documentation to prove where the funds came from to ensure it was not an illegal transaction, which he cooperated fully, and even paid additional taxes not owed to complete the transaction.
He was interrogated over a course of two days, and felt very
threatened by their accusations and insults. It had been almost two
weeks, and he had not heard from the transfer unit so he went down there
to find out why they had not proceeded with the transaction, and it
was then an altercation ensued, they refused to transfer funds, and in a
moment he made an emotional decision, a minor mistake out of severe
distress.
He was arrested on Monday December 19,2016 and charged with assault, he was physically attacked by the officers and sent straight to prison. This
could happen to anyone, my friend and business associate has a fine
reputation as a business person, colleague, ad a human being, and does
not deserve the treatment he has received. I am petitioning you to open your to help my friend get out
of a desperate situation.
Every person he ever showed kindness to, his colleagues, friends, family, even his own father, the man who has been laying in the hospital near death has abandoned him, he has never been a Father to this young man yet he stood by his side at his sick bed. He has no help, his sweet mother died when he was 10 years old.
Please my friend needs 9,000 USD to pay the required fine by the court to drop the charges, the
laws in the United Kingdom are very corrupt, if he does not come up
with the 9,000 they will put him on trial and possibly convict him. It is because of the fact he has no support from family and friends that he has no access to his own money to help himself.
He has never been in trouble a day in his life, and his
attorney and I have put up nearly everything that we own and all that we
have to help him, I am only asking you to reach into your hearts to give a small donation to help this young man reclaim his lif
e. I have not revealed his identity, out of respect for his privacy and counsel by his attorney, I hope I have represented him well.
