Please Help my Father

Last November 11, 2018, my parents are on their way home when they met an unfortunate accident.

My father was driving his tricycle while my mother was his passenger in the side car. They were traversing the road when a motor vehicle with a drunken driver crash in-between the motor and the side car of the tricycle. My mom fell out of the tricycle due to impact. She sustained multiple bruises in her head and body but her CT scan on the head shows that there is no blood clotting. My mom was released in the hospital on her 3rd day. Right now, she is still recovering but doing well. We have not yet taken her for psychiatric evaluation but she is showing trauma to ride any vehicle. Hopefully, no further issues will occur.

However, my dad is a different story. He tried his best to position the tricycle in such a way that my mom will not get harmed as much as possible. Unfortunately, his right leg got squeezed by the motor resulting to 2 broken bone and a broken toe. The scalp on his head also suffer deep wound and now requires plastic surgery to cover his skull. After his operation to connect his bones in the legs, most complications became visible. He went into septic shock : rashes in the face, low hemoglobin, continous high fever with chills, no urine, his heart malfunctioned and his lungs became congested... They are currently draining his lungs to remove the water so that he can be cleared for operation on his scalp.

As of today, November 21, 2018, on our 9th day in the hospital, our running hospital bill is already at 236,826.67php. This does not include the 100k we initially shell out to have his operation on his leg. Most of the bulk in the hospital bill went to his medicine (133,193.07php): antibiotics, pain reliever, albumin and others. Approximately, 15k pesos per day on his medicine alone. If we are to stay for another week + his operation in the head, the estimate is around 250k pesos additional. Our bill may end up around 500k pesos. I am not thinking yet how much we should be expecting during his recovery and therapy.

I am happy that my father LIVED, that we are not holding his wake at the moment. We want him to get well. We want to spend more years with him. It is not yet that long since he is enjoying his "grandad" life. However, we are not financially capable to sustain his needs. We are appealing to everyone who will read this to help us in any way.
