Good day! I am April Joy and I humbly ask for help for my father. His name is Juancho and his right leg has to be amputated as soon as possible.

In 2015, he has been complaining about his right leg. We brought him to many doctors already and none recommended for an ultrasound or even x-ray. The doctors gave him medicines for arthritis. He said that it's painful to walk and last year, I noticed that his right leg's color is darker than the other one. Again, we transferred to another doctor and same advise was given. Until this year came and just this July, he discovered that his right foot has an open wound. He could not recall where he got it and he thinks that it's because of an insect bite. He tried to self medicate but I noticed it did not work. So I asked them to see another doctor. The doctor immediately cleaned his wound since it is full of puss. After a week, the doctor noticed that it is getting bigger and so he scheduled for a debridement in August. The minor surgery took around 45minutes to 1hour. Then his journey to never ending pain begun. He had to take pain relievers every day (strong pain reliever to note) and yet it did not leave him. He screams for pain and I can only do is pray that the pain reliever kicks in. He can't sleep, he can't walk. After a week, he walks with crutches and tries to sleep sitting.

After half a month, he transferred to another doctor. This time, the doctor gave him antibiotic and another pain reliever since his feet and leg are still swelling. One week later, his doctor got bothered because it is unusual that after medication that his leg is still swelling and the wound on his foot is getting bigger. He was then admitted to Silliman University Medical Center for close monitoring and lab. His X-Ray was okay but his ultrasound showed that blood flow no longer pass his leg. His leg is technically "dead". Thus it should be amputated to save other parts of his body. The doctor says that it is because of nicotine.

As a daughter, I wouldn't want this to happen to my father. It is painful to see him in pain. We have no other resources and our bill is going up. PCSO, Municipal and Provincial help are seeked. Any amount can go a long way. Thank you and Godbless.
