Please help my family keep our house

ey everyone! My family is going through a bit of a rough time. We are normally the ones giving to everyone else, so asking for help is difficult for us.

We moved out of state last year around this time to pursue a better life for our family and at the time I was 5 months pregnant with our baby boy, Oliver.

At the time he was born in March, my husband was working nearly 90 hours a week on top of having a newborn. He was stressed, I was stressed and it was taking a toll on both of our health as well as his relationship with me and our son.

We we made a decision about 2 months later for him to quit his job after he had been looking for another job for a bit in hopes of quitting with something else to fall back on. After no luck, we decided to go out on faith that we would find something and he quit his job. After 3 months of job searching, he finally found something with the pay and benefits we needed. We had quite a bit of money saved up so it wasn’t until after he started his new job that we started to feel the pain of being unemployed for a few months.

Now a couple months into into his new job, we are REALLY feeling it because we are so far behind that we are still paying off last months bills, including rent. Once we get caught up in rent, we will be in a much better position.

Our landlord called us yesterday and said that we have until Friday (2 days from now) to come up with the $600 we still owe on last months rent and we have until Monday to also pay half of what we owe on this months rent (another $600 on Monday). The following week, the other half of the rent will be due, but I’m pretty sure we can make that work.. we just need help covering what is due over the next few days.

Our journey hasn’t exactly gone as expected so far, but I believe God can bring something good out of every adversity and these challenges have definitely made us stronger and brought us closer as a family.

If anyone can help contribute, we will be so so thankful. Once we are able to take care of our bills, we will continue giving to things like this because we believe everyone needs a little help sometimes.
