Please Help My Family Keep Our Home

To my parents, this isn’t the noblest and honest way to be asking for help, but I really have no other options on how to help them.

We have lived in this house for about 9 years, we got it off my grandparents after they past away and it’s been in the family for 3 generations and hopefully 4.

My Father is no longer with us and so because of this I am to step up and take over as another source of income for the family, but due to my previous educational training, I can’t take over for him at his previous job (he was a nurse). In an effort to earn an extra income, I have been applying for multiple jobs and sending out multiple resumes daily, all to no avail. Hopefully, something will turn up but the way things are looking now within my community, I’m not sure.

I've tried selling rare collectibles, jewellery and anything extra that I have lying around, but it's not enough. This is embarrassing, but I have run out of options. My parents have never asked for money from anyone and when I presented the idea of doing this to my Mother, she quickly dismissed it. But due to the financial difficulties were having, I have no choice but to carry on with it.

We are all under an extreme amount of stress and pressure, especially my Mother. I will have to work a minimum of 3 jobs in order to help us out, and even then I don’t think that will be enough.

The main reason why I wanted to start this is to show how much my family means to me and what I’m willing to do to make sure we keep this house in our family now and for future generations to come. Although they would never approve of me doing this, I have no other choice. I can’t even get a loan from a bank because of my lack of income from my current job and my previous student loan.

The only thing that I want to do is to help my parents. They are without a doubt the hardest working, honest and most wonderful people you will ever meet. They have worked so hard during their lives that I can’t remember a time when they were on a break or vacation, especially with my Father working nights and my Mother working days. We have never done anything like this before.  It's very embarrassing, to have to ask or even "beg" people for help with money.  We just want to return to a normal life. We are asking for any amount of financial support you can give.
