Please help my family and I

My name is Dylan Overstolz, and I am an American Citizen. I am a proud US citizen, but unfortunately at the moment will not permit the love of my life to live with me. I am a 23 year old man with so much ahead of me, but without Ricardo in my life it won't be complete. I have lived in Mexico for over a year now. I am staying with Ricardo's father, who has been so supportive of our relationship from the beginning.

We both come from families who weren't so keen on the idea that their son's were gay, but from the love we have shown each other, and the love, and respect we show for them, has changed their minds. My mother calls Ricardo her son, and is so saddened and heartbroken that Ricardo is unable to come live in the US. Ricardo isn't just apart of my life, but in the life of my mother. He makes her happy knowing that her son is happy, and taken care of.

As I type this, DOMA is being fought in the Supreme Court, if this law is repealed I will be able to sponser Ricardo for US citizenship, and we will finally be able to start a family, and have a life together. Being in Mexico, I have met so many good people, and so happy to be able to call them family now.  But it's time for us to go home, and be able to start our life in the US, and start our own family. When DOMA is repealed, there's going to be a lot of costs with finding an immigration attorney, K-1 visa. airline tickets from the US consulate and back, as well as the Adjustment of Status. I just want the same opportunity as everyone else. To love, and support my family. One day when I look back at this time in my life, I want to be able to smile and be able to see the good in this.
