Please Help My Dog – Romeo

In June my dog Romeo broke his leg as a result of a fight he had with my other dog, we went to the vet and managed to fix the fracture the first time with a plate and screws.

He was then discharged and at home being closely monitored from June until September. He had healed nearly completely until this Friday, when another unfortunate fight occurred, which caused his bone to break again.

Panic had set when I received urgent calls from my sister as she was home alone when the incident took place.

We took him back to the vet and they gave me one of two options:
1 - See a specialist and replace the plate and screw
2 - Amputate his leg

Since there are viable nerves and feeling in is foot, we would very much like to go ahead with Option 1 (seeing the specialist).

The first Incident was an out of pocket expense for us, this time around our Pet Medical Aid will only cover a quarter.

Please can you assist us in ensuring Romeo stays on all Four Legs.
