Hello. My name is Tracy Charles. I'm a 20 year old expat from London and live in the USA. Over a month ago, on the 15th of April, my father entered into emergency hospital care in a Colon cancer. So far he had had to undergo three extremely hard and high risk surgeries. He was fighting it and recovering until three days ago, on Friday 17th of May we ran into a serious complication.
My dad presented with a fever, the antibiotics he had been issued not working, and had to be hospitalized -again- just as we thought things were getting better. He is still running a fever now, and more blood tests are being ran on him even as i'm typing this.
But this is it. This is as far as we can go as a family. We have ran out of money and there isn't a way for us to raise any in any manner that doesn't require me turning to someone else for help.
Healthcare of the level my dad requires at the moment costs almost 1000 usd for ever day he has to remain in hospital care. Our family never had a lot of money and after losing my sister to cancer just one year earlier and we are stuck financially due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are finally with our backs against the wall. Our bank accounts have ran dry. For the least I can do to help cut the medical costs for Dad. Therefore, we are asking for help in raising at least $70,000 to help our family offset the financial burden so that Dad can get the surgery he needs and hopefully get well soon.
Unemployed. I live in the USA and make less than 3000 usd a month. We simply don't have the means, even after coming so far.
I understand that this is a hard time to ask for help as many are out of work and are struggling to cope due to the pandemic. Any contribution would be a great help and our family will be eternally grateful for any amount you are able to contribute.
Please help me save my dad. And if you can't donate, i implore you, please spread it. Please. It will cost only one moment of your time but it might help this to reach someone who will care enough and have the means to help.
Thank you for your time.
