Please help my ate — Shiela’s Pituitary Macroadenoma Operation

Please help us support one of the best friends that I have. She's one of my closest cousins and she has 2 kids she still want to support.

My ate has been in and out of the hospital due to strokes which happens almost yearly, but she still continue working to support her family.

Her husband is now the one doing everything at home, from taking care of the kids to the house chores as my ate can't get too tired, can't be too happy, and can't be too sad, as it might trigger another stroke.

This fund raiser is the only thing I can do for them, since the tumor that she has may cause blindness, which will stop her from working and supporting her kids, which is a 13 y.o. boy and 4 y.o. girl, which both are really gifted to be so smart.

Hi everyone, my name is Shiela Marie Nuñez-Gecale, 35 yrs old, mother of 2 from Angeles City, Pampanga. I was diagnosed with Pituitary Macroadenoma, meaning a tumor was found in my pituitary gland. Although this type of tumor is not cancerous, it can press on my optic nerves and cause blindess. Aside from eye sight problems, other symptoms include headache and nausea. According to the MRI scans and perimetry test, my tumor had already started pressing on my optic nerves. Some parts of my eyes were already affected and there's no guarantee how much time i have before i totally lost my vision. My neuro surgeon suggested that i need to have the tumor removed in 2 to 3 months from the date the MRI scans were taken which was Feb 21, 2019. My doctor estimated the surgery to be at least PHP350,000 to PHP400,000. The estimate for the hospital fees that could be covered by my health card were already deducted from this amount. Three months after the surgery, another MRI scan will be taken then i will undergo radiation theraphy. Prior to being diagnosed with pituitary tumor, I've gone through a lot of trials. My gall bladder was removed last October 2015. Three weeks after that surgery, i suffered my first stroke. And almost yearly after that, I was rushed to the hospital due to mild stroke attacks. Still, i feel so blessed. I have a wonderful family and they give me the strength to fight again and again. My faith in God gives me energy and hope. I'm still thankful whenever i wake up every single day. I believe God is with me all the time. Please allow me to thank you for your help. It will go a long way for me.
