Please help me try to stay with my son

My name is Emily, and I currently need help towards fees for my immigration lawyer which will hopefully help me stay in this country. My son and his father are citizens, I am not. I am from Canada.

I have been embarrassed and ashamed and also still deeply inside of what is happening in my life. I don’t want the details of the bad side of this relationship to be what this is about in this post because I’m still grieving and trying to figure out what’s happening in my life. Originally my friend from back home had shared a bit of this and tried to help me but based on harassment and comments from my sons fathers family, I felt it would be appropriate I share it myself so no one else has to have any hassle through what’s happening in my situation. I want Tollys dad to have a chance to be an actual dad to him and to help out and be a part of his life. The immigration system is exhausting and my options are extremely limited. We are trying to extend my visa in any avenues we can so that I can petition my humanitarian rights to stay in this country and Tolly can have a chance at a life with both parents. I was doing partner residency before I ultimately had to retract that visa after It was sent through because of what happened in my relationship. I can not just come home (Canada) unless Tolly’s dad decided he wanted to live in Canada or he wrote a letter stating he is fine with me living there with Tolly. But I do want that chance given for us both to be parents to him. My intentions are to be able to hopefully obtain residency at some point and be able to continue living with my son here, as the best option at this point seems to be to keep trying to stay to be with him. I work with great people, have a roof over our heads, provide for Tolly and I’ve had help from this community to not sink, but I do not want to give up. My current work visa only goes till April, so we are trying to extend my work visa, otherwise there isn’t many options for me to stay currently, at best I may be stuck on a visitor visa which means I can not work and my rental and security for my son will not be obtainable. If you have the capacity to help in anyway it is greatly appreciated and means everything. I am doing everything possible to provide, move forward and just live and be a mum, I just need help getting to the next step, anything helps towards fees, I am calling on anyone who has the capacity, thankyou so much for reading this and if you are not able to help, even a prayer or keeping us in your thoughts means the world.
