Campaign Story
I’m delighted to announce I have been accepted to participate in a teacher training workshop in India through Impact Teachers’ Beyond Educational Needs (B.E.N.) Movement.
I've been so fortunate to work with Impact for the past two years, raising money in the UK and volunteering in Bihar, India and Bweyogerere, Uganda. Through my experiences with Impact, I have met some truly dedicated teachers who have all the motivation and heart to be truly effective educators, but have not had the privilege of post-secondary education. As a volunteer with Impact Teachers, I will be dedicating a week of my term break to providing basic teaching skills training to teachers in impoverished Delhi schools. Throughout the week, I will be utilising Impact’s teachers training curriculum to lead 60 teachers through an intensive training workshop.
Impact Teachers is generously paying all on-the-ground costs (transport, accommodation, meals and training materials). I am hoping to raise the funds to cover the costs of:
Educational Materials
Travel
Visa
Medical Expenses
This totals approximately £800.
If 80 friends donate as little as £10 each, or 40 of you donate £20, you will help make this amazing opportunity a reality!
Donations above and beyond my goal will go directly to purchasing additional school supplies for children in the Impact partner schools in New Delhi.

Thank you so very much!!

- Be inspired, be a part of Impact Teachers. We're working together every day to impact education locally and globally. Impact Teachers are a UK-based, purpose-driven teacher recruitment agency and the leader in global learning. The company not only focuses on recruiting high quality teachers from Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Ireland, and the UK to work within UK schools, we are additionally committed to reaching out to schools, teachers and youth to raise awareness of the importance of global learning. As a part of this, we work toward the improvement of overseas education through our Overseas Teacher Training trips to India and Uganda to train local teachers with the dual goal of improving the quality of education of students in India and Uganda as well as peer-networking with colleagues from both the UK and India to improve their teaching practices and to bring global learning back into their own classrooms! To date, we have impacted nearly 1 million students' education on a global scale with the aim of reaching another 4 million children over the next 10 years. If you are an Impact Teachers volunteer who has been accepted onto one of Impact's trips and are ready to start the next step of your journey, start your campaign now and select 'Impact Teachers' from the project category drop-down menu.
