My Mum is the bravest, strongest person I know. She has been through things that are unimaginable to you and I. At 19 years old My Mum had to sign the papers to turn OFF her own Mothers life support machine as she was medically certified brain dead after a brain hemorrhage.
My Mum never knew her Father, she had me at 20 a single parent with no one and no support.
My Mum fell in love with a man when I was 11. She found herself once again sat at the bedside of a life support machine. He was diagnosed with AIDS and was unaware he had it.
My mum was informed she had contracted the HIV virus from him.
My Mum is very poorly, but she never lets it stop her and she always has a beautiful smile on her face.
My Mum went on to have his child, she worked hard to protect her unborn baby from the HIV virus and my sister was born negative as are my other siblings.
My Mum was left by this man as he couldn't live with the fact that he had given her HIV.
The story unfortunately doesn't end here, I wish it did.
In an extremely vulnerable position my Mum was taken in by an awful man, she suffered domestic violence for 5 years. Having the courage whilst heavily pregnant my Mum reported this vile man to the police, and testified against him in court. He was given a 2 year sentence.
My Mum is an amazing person, kind and loving, she puts everyone before herself and will do anything for anyone. Now it's my time to help her and show how much myself and my siblings love her.
I would like to raise funds for My Mum to live nearer to me, she is currently 45 miles away with my young siblings, she is not in good health and has no support system where she is. She runs her own little business dress making and just about manages to get by, although she isn't in a position to raise the funds needed to move house.
Please help me to help My wonderful Mum start the new life she deserves, in a new home with all the love and support she needs, running her own successful little business.
