Please help me to become an Art Therapist.

It is my dream to become an Art Therapist. Before I can achieve this, I must first get a degree in Psychology. It is a passion that is very close to my heart. I would like to help people through art in a positive way to heal. I have myself gone through trauma and years of therapy, and have found my true calling. This will enable me to use my gift received by being artistic, and my natural ability of listening and feeling deeply, combining the two to help people who find it difficult to communicate through speech. Art is healing, and having a therapist that can guide you through your feelings, and teach you to embrace what you have positively would be highly beneficial. I will also be able to work with patients who has Dimentia, Alzheimers, ADHD and people with brain injuries to look at things differently by incorporating art with therapy. I have a daughter who has been diagnosed with ADHD, a mother with Dimentia and a very close frien who has a brain injury due to a freak accident, so this really lies very close to my heart.
