Please help me stay in college!

I've just started my 4th year at Northern Vermont University as a Psychology major and would be devastated if financial issues forced me to abandon this place that has become a second home. This year I found out I am no longer eligible for a grant that I have previously received due to having over 60 credits. This has significantly impacted my financial status here and I know from previous experience that I could potentially be kicked off campus if I can't afford to settle my bill. In my sophomore and junior years, I was able to really turn my academic record around, making the dean's list fall semester of my junior year. I'm an active member of the NVU community, as a member of multiple clubs (most notably Model UN and NVUnity, our pride club) and having worked for the library since my freshman year. I have fostered many great connections across campus and sit on the Library Advisory Committee and the President's Student Advisory Council. I value the community of this school and do not want to have to leave it behind any earlier than graduation.

While the financial aid office has been very helpful and generous with their time and assistance, I have maxed out my federal loans and don't have anyone who could cosign a private loan. I can set up a payment plan but as of now, I cannot afford to pay about $550 a month. My bill is currently $2,233.00 but I will continue to accrue late fees until the balance is fully paid. I am asking for 3,000 as I also need a laptop, especially in this era of Zoom classes, and some money for transportation home at the end of the semester, as coronavirus has derailed my usual Amtrak route. I do not have financial support from my family, as it is just me and my grandparent.
