Please Help Me Save Sam’s Drum Corps Season!

We were informed this week that Sam is in danger of being dismissed from Gold Drum and Bugle Corps due to his inability to meet his tuition obligations. He was told that he must pay $1000 of his $1800 obligation or he will not be able to continue. (There is a kind of irony here as he is their Lead for Euphoniums)

He had a plan to pay for his season this year by volunteering in pre-season fundraisers and asking others to help by volunteering their time to other fundraising opportunities. Unfortunately, the pre-season opportunities were cut this year and there haven't been enough opportunities to raise enough money now that the season has begun. Sam also had a fundraiser page earlier this year but, due to an age dispute with that company, the funds were returned to the donors. (For those that did donate to Sam's earlier fundraiser, you probably noticed the refund. Also, a huge thank you for your donation, regardless of the outcome.) This has left him with a significant shortage in his tuition obligations, so I am once again starting a funding page to help.

For any of you who know Sam, playing music and participating in drum corps has become a serious passion in his life. My wife and I have done all that we can to help, donating our time for fundraisers and such, but that is all we are able to do. It's not a proud thing to admit, but I am still experiencing financial difficulties and I am simply unable come up with this kind of money on my own. It's heartbreaking to think that, after all the hard work he has done with Gold this season, he should be cut just as they are about to tour their show. (The show, by the way, is called "Through Our Eyes" and is about children on the Autism Spectrum.)

If any of you can give even a little, we would greatly appreciate it. We would also appreciate sharing this fundraiser to anyone you know as well, whether you are unable to help financially or not.
