Campaign Story
Two days ago I woke up and I couldn't see out of my left eye. It turns out I have a detached retina. I am an American living in the Philippines and teach English to Chinese students online. I don't have any insurance. I went to the doctor and she told me that I have a detached retina. I have some savings but not nearly enough to cover the cost of the surgery. I don't want to lose my vision. I don't know what else to do. I don't like asking for help. Ask any of my friends and they will tell you that I don't and never ask for help. I am asking for help on this because it is so important and I don't know what else to do. Thank you so much for your generosity and kindness. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
