Please help me save my partner from the streets

Hello, Amazing People.

At the moment, I am waiting for my paperwork to be processed so I can be with my fiancé in the US. But I am not the one in desperate need of a kind soul's help. Following several months of being unable to come up with a plan to save my partner from homelessness in Seattle, I have decided to set up a campaign and ask the world for help.

I have been saving up to support my partner, but my $300 a month salary doesn't seem enough for the costs of living in Seattle. In the meantime, my boy is doing his best to get enough working hours to support himself. He is hardworking and efficient, and has an existing job, but he is not sure he can keep it while he is homeless. A lot of people want more hours right now, and there are no shifts for him to pick up to keep his working week at about 40 hours. He keeps trying to find part-time jobs, even as I write this text. He has been looking for a place to stay in Seattle for months now, and he can't find a place that has more relaxed attitude regarding deposit. Everyone requires first and last month + deposit, the last often above $1000 itself, even for a simple room.

He has enough money on him to eat once a day and that's about it. He is going into a shelter, but both of us are really scared of what is going to happen once he gets there. Health issues and safety aside, it is very difficult to abide by shelter hours with shifts that often last beyond curfew, but even his bed is not guaranteed. We have heard both good and bad things about shelters, but the worst thing about this situation is that there is nothing beyond the shelter. No other plan. If the shelter doesn't work, or there is no bed left for him in the evenings, neither of us is sure what to do. He has no car to sleep in, no friends able to help him with accommodation, and no resources to work with apart from the pocket money he has on him for food.

As I have the misfortune of being 6000 miles away from my partner at the moment, there is nothing I can do for him except post this and hope for the best. This is my big push, because nobody else seems prepared to help him stand up on his feet. I am trying to raise $1500 so that he can cover all the expenses for getting a room in Seattle and hopefully move in by the end of April. If you can help me with this, we would both be very grateful and pay it forward.
