Please help me save little Calvados

Please can all of you out there help me to save little Calvados.

He is a French percheron foal born this April & because he is not the standard colour of black, white or grey he will go for meat in October.

He is a little palomino (biscuit & white) & his colour is not recognised here in France so his fate is sealed if we all don't try & help him.

All I am asking is for everyone who reads this to please donate just £5 or as much as you can so I can buy him from the farmer & get him on our field where he will be safe & never go for meat.

The farmer is asking for 1,000 euros - about £850 although I am sure he will take less as his meat value because he is not fully grown would be less than this.

We have a stunning five acre field here in France with other horses where he can stay & grow happily until I can find him a loving home when he is older or even keep him forever.

I am more than happy for anyone who donates some money to offer a free weekend over here in France (accommodation only sorry) on a raffle basis so in October all names who have donated will be drawn from a hat.

I really believe there are a lot of good people reading this who care enough to help me save this little man.
