Please Help Me Repair My Home

First and foremost my name is David & I am in trouble. I bought my house in early 1994 and soon after landed my dream job. Started some work on my home, was very capable of doing most of the work on my own. A couple of years later I lost that job due to a corporate buy out. This put my home remodel on hold while I did some job hunting, which did not go well. I took a job with Home Depot just for some cash flow which did not include money to continue any home remodel.
I was at that job for a couple of years when I tested & was offered a government job. About a year after, I unfortunately received an on the job injury. This injury did not allow me to continue my job as trained. Later I found out that there is a government mandate that states, if an employee of the federal government is injured on the job & can no longer perform in the position he or she was trained for then the employee will be retrained. The mandate is a bit more extensive, about 3 months before I was injured the director of my agency took it upon himself to declare his/my agency was not going to abide by this government mandate. So he put all injured workers in limited duty positions, which we did not receive raises, promotions or bonuses. Guess what, once again I was in a situation I could no longer afford to do work on my home nor even do the work myself due to the injury. In the early part of 2011 the agency decided they would put all the limited duty personnel in a workers comp situation. I now make a little less than 2/3 of that meagor salary and can just barley afford to pay my house payments, utilities and buy groceries. I am 63 soon to be 64 I do not know how long DOL "Department of Labor" is going to continue to pay me or force me into retirement "Social Security", they have done that to several of my friends. If that happens I will be making even less money a month.
I would like to be able to finish the work on my house before any of this happens...PLEASE HELP.

The interior needs work as well...
