Hello
First of all, thanks for taking the time to read my message.
My name is George, I'm 27 years old (born on 10.10.1985), an only child raised by a single mother.
I am asking for your help today because, well, I feel like I'm stuck in a dead-end and I don't have anybody else to turn to or any door left to knock on... I would also like to let you know from the start that I wouldn't have asked for your help if I could have found a job, I don't like asking for handouts, but I am forced to take them as it's hard to get a job in my condition... so that being said, I consider myself pretty good with computers (programming, web design, graphics, etc) and if you need any computer-related work done in return for your donation, just let me know and I will gladly do it (if I can, of course).

Here is why I need your help
I could be asking for your help on a lot of financial problems that I have (and God knows I really need the help), like due bills on the house (which threaten to have us kicked out), money for food because there are days when we have nothing on the table (it's hard when you have to go for a week with only empty fried rice as your breakfast, lunch and dinner) or for anything else required for surviving, but instead, I am asking for your help on a health problem that I have, which is taking it's toll on my mental and physical health. I need to fix my teeth as soon as possible until it's not really too late... I have always had problems with my teeth, ever since I was little, but due to a lack of money, I have never gotten them fixed and now, I'm left with only one good tooth (hopefully) on my upper side. Besides the physical health implications of this problem (constant pains, infections, not being able to chew right – which also affects my stomach, etc), this is also affecting my life in other ways... it makes me feel ashamed to laugh (even if I hear the greatest joke in the world) – I usually just show a smile without opening my lips, it makes me fell ashamed to talk to new people I meet (or to people I know as a matter of fact) so that my teeth won't show, it greatly lowers my self-confidence and overall, it's making me an introverted person, which is exactly the opposite of how I feel in my heart. It's also part of the problem when trying to get a new job which won't put my talents to waste, as nobody wants my "boxing-champion smile" as their image. They say you never get a second chance to make a first impression, well, guess what first impression I make when I talk to somebody new... Anyway, I need your help on this because in my heart, there's still a dim light which tells me that things will workout in the end if I keep on trying... and I'm no quitter, but I want a fair chance to fight, I need to feel confident in order to take on this world, I know I need to have a positive attitude in order to have positive things happen in my life, and for that, I NEED YOU.

Besides all that, I am also asking for an extra $400 in my plea so I can also pay my electrical bill in order to work on my computer and put some food on the table. I am living without electrical power in my home since last summer...

But throughout all this, what I really miss is smiling like when I was little, so please help me remember how it's like to smile. Thank you.

PS: I know that there are a lot of people who need the help far more than I do, so I promise that I'll do my best to pay it forward.

Best wishes,
George.
