Please help me pay Medical bills

I was asaulted last year and spent two days in the hospital after having surgery on my face and jaw. The perpetrators were never caught, leaving me to pay all medical expenses in excess of $27,000. Over the last year I have worked three jobs to get these bills paid off and while I have made a sizeable dent I have reached a point where I can barely keep my head above water. A recent work event in which two of my subordinates (I'm a foreman for a heavy equipment excavation company) were killed and one is still in the hospital due to an extremely terrible accident, has left me without my main source of income. I've been put on temporary unpaid leave under order of the company's insurance provider. This event has also lead me to pursue a career in software engineering but I can't get any grant money because of my previous income and I can't get a private loan until this debt is paid off or drastically reduced. I still owe in excess of $17,000 and am in desperate need of help and this seems like a necessary evil to ameliorate my situation so I can get on living my life. Also, I pleadge to match the whatever amount I receive here in charitable donations over the next five years, hopefully sooner if I'm able. Thank you so much for your help.
