Please Help Me Keep My Home and Pay Way Past Due Bills

In January of this year I was recruited by a contractor to the veterans division of the county court system to develop a series of training sessions to help U.S. military veterans, with minor offenses, transition into the civilian workforce.

As thoroughly as I could, I checked the contractor out with the county court system, as I would not be paid for my services until the court paid him in April. Although this meant working for three months without pay, the court assured me the pay would be worth the wait. I paid my monthly bills from my savings, and when April approached, it was discovered that this contractor was a sex offender, and he left town without paying any of his sub-contractors. Because I was one of his sub-contractors, the court was not obligated to pay for my services.

Since then I have been interviewed for several jobs, but it appears that I am guilty by association with this person and have not been able to get a job. My savings have run out, and I cannot pay my mortgage. I have until December 18th to pay the mortgage company $7000 or it will go into default. I have a 92 year old lady who raised me, and now lives with me as I am her care provider. If I should lose this house it would be devastating for her.

I also have job related debt of $3,250, and $1750.00 back payments for my car due by January 31st. Any contribution you can provide to help me in this time of need, will be truly appreciated and, as I get financially back on my feet I promise I will pay it forward.
