Please help me help my 88-yr-old mother, my 21-yr-old disabled daughter, my 17-yr-old senior high school daughter and myself.

I am reaching out for help in order to have our phone service reinstated. I have caused much distress financially and emotionally not only to my immediate family but also my extended family by making bad choices during my life. My mother is 88 years old and in the past two weeks has been hospitalized twice for shortness of breath, heart palpitations and is now weak and pale. The doctors have told her that although she has heart disease, a reduction in the amount of stress in her life would be of great benefit to her health. I lost my job June 29, 2016, and although I am receiving unemployment compensation and am actively seeking work, my family and myself are in a dire financial situation. My mother has allowed my two daughters and myself to live with her in her one bedroom apartment for the past year. Recently, we lost our phone service due to lack of payment. I need to make a payment of $1100 to have the service reinstated and then I can make payment arrangements to pay the balance. As most people may understand, the lack of phone service is crucial because we also have no computer, internet or even TV/cable service. We cannot contact agencies, doctors or other essential services.

If this situation was just for me, I would not be seeking help, but I have put my mother and my daughters in a situation they do no deserve. My mother worked very hard all of her life. My daughters also work and are quite understanding and accepting of the unusual circumstances of their lives. These failures are completely my fault and if anyone who is reading this knows us, please know I alone am to blame.

The reason I listed $1500 as a goal for raising money is because we have been without TV/cable service for several months now. My mom loves to watch the Steelers, the local and national news and Lifetime movies Without service, there is nothing for her to do to relax which is at this point crucial to her health.

I asked that if anyone found our situation deserving of help, that help be sent to my mom as she is and always has been responsible in paying her bills and debts. The money is owed to TMobile and she would make sure that it is taken care of immediately. My family does not know that I have put our story out there but I felt the need to do something as the issues in our home are overwhelming to all of us.
