Campaign Story
Hello! I am an undergraduate architecture student from the Philippines. In order for me to graduate, I would have to finish my thesis. This is the last hurdle before I can fully help my family.
My dad has tongue cancer, can't speak, and is only fed via a tube to his stomach. My mom, on the other hand, is already a senior citizen, which is why to get by, I would have to come up with the funds I need for my thesis on my own. Finishing school so I could finally work and help my family with the bills is of utmost priority. To maximize the potential of my thesis, some financial boost would mean a lot.
My thesis topic is "Bu1: Designing against ICE stressors in a proposed lunar base" and its theoretical location is at the Shackleton Crater, Lunar South Pole. Although I'm doing my thesis to get my degree, I'm also doing it because I'm immensely interested in space exploration and space architecture. I want to do my thesis well and I want it to be of substance.
I seemingly have limited opportunities to explore the topic. Recently, I got accepted as delegate to a space event, the Asia Pacific Space Generation Workshop to be held in Nagoya, and I believe attending would deepen my understanding of the topic a lot. However, going would incur costs that I cannot afford, which is why I need your help. The funds I will get here will be used to attend educational workshops, seminars, and to acquire materials pertinent to my thesis.
