Please Help Me Furthering My Studies

Hello. Good day to all :). Please spend some time to read my story :). I am sorry and I am ashamed for asking help but please bare with me.

**Introduction

My name is Megat and I am 26 years old. I will be furthering my studies in my Master degree in International Relations soon in overseas (Turkey). I am very thankful that I got scholarship to cover my studies. However, I really need money to help me to do preparation before I further my studies. I still need to spend money in order to prepare before I go there.

**Why Do I Need Money Even Though I Got Scholarship?

The scholarship only covers my study life, however it does not cover the preparation that I need to do before starting my studies.

Currently, I do not have any job. I am still searching for a job to help me save money for the preparation. So far I have not yet successful in getting a job. It is quite hard to find a job in my living place since my town is not a big town, so there are not much jobs available. Besides, many job vacancies I found are only open to different gender and race, hence I am not able to apply the job.

Before this, I was an intern at a firm where I was given monthly allowance. Although it is not much but I saved money from the allowance. But I have already ended my internship period so I can no longer get any allowance even if I still working there. At first I thought of staying there and try to save money until I start my Master degree but since I do not get anymore allowance, I made decision to find a job, which until now I am still searching for one.

I could not ask money from my parent since we are not from a wealthy family. My father was a farmer (but now stopped since he is old and he has heart disease since last year), while my mother is only a housewife. I could not also ask help from my other family members since they have helped me a lot.

**For What Will I Use The Funds For?

I will need money to do preparation before going to Turkey. Among the preparation that I need to do are such as:

1. To buy clothing needed for new weather there.

I live in tropical weather country where it is hot for whole year. So, my daily life clothing for whole of my life is only suitable for this hot weather. In my life I never travel anywhere outside of my country, hence I never buy those clothing that suits other weather such as four season weather.

So I will need to spend quite a money to buy the required clothing in order for me to survive the weather there. This include everything, from A to Z. From head to toe.

I will also need to perhaps buy a luggage bag, since I never travel, my luggage bag is only those normal one for internal travel, not overseas.

2. To spend on basic need during first month arriving there

Although I got scholarship, but the process in order for me to get the scholarship will take time. I was informed that the process may take about one month (or less, or more, I am not sure). So, before that, I will need to use my own money to survive there. My basic needs are such as:
-to complete the process of student visa.

-transportation tariff and charge

-telephone charge

-basic daily needs like food and drinks.

These are among the reasons why I need a donations. However, just in case, I also would like to ask your permission first, for me to use the money for other things than mentioned, in case if I need to use it. I am asking for permission because I do not know what else I might need the money for. But I swear that for whatever reason it is, I will only use it for things related with my preparation to further my studies. I will never misuse the donation from the goodwill of the people.

Honestly I do not know how much I need. I put it at around $1300 but based on my calculation, it should suffice and is enough to make me breathe goodly :)

But if you are to donate more than the amount I need, I would be really really really thankful for that. Your generosity will never be forgotten.

And if the amount of donation that I got is more than what I need, I plan to donate the money to people who are in need. Since I only need money for my preparation to further my studies, and that's that. More than that, I could use it to help other people, just like how you help me. This I promise :)

If you are to ask what qualification I have to deserve a donation, I can not really say what do I have. But I have been active in a lot of volunteerism programs back in my studies. You can see from the photos that I attach here. Among them are program with orphanages, refugees children, and aboriginal people. I also attach my Bachelor graduation photo :).

Finally, I really hope you could consider to make a donation to me. And if not, you could perhaps share the stories so other people could help me as well! More share, more donation, more love, more happiness :).
