Please help me fund breast reduction surgery!

I cannot believe I am humiliating myself in this way, but desperation sometimes makes us do desperate things!

I REALLY need breast reduction surgery! I am a size 14H and am in pretty bad pain most days. I suffer from constant neck and shoulder pain, constant rashes and cracked/painful skin under the breasts. I’m not able to do a lot of physical tasks. I cannot run or exercise easily which contributes to weight gain and general unfitness. I absolutely hate my body, and my boobs have really limited my self-confidence, and my ability to have positive relationships.

Despite having lost significant amounts of weight in the past to try and being referred to public hospital waiting lists, the funding for this type of surgery in the public system is extremely limited and currently the Auckland DHB does not fund this procedure at all. They used to have an arrangement with Counties-Manukau DHB but I was advised this has now ceased.

I believe this surgery would change my life in a hugely positive way. I have never heard of anyone having this surgery and regretting it. I simply cannot afford it hence my use of this site. Any funds raised over and above the amount needed will be donated to charity.

If I manage to raise the funds I need, I will post regular updates and photos (no face) so you all know that you have really contributed to something that matters. Any amount you can afford would mean a lot to me.
