Please Help Me from Drowning

I'm Jenny and I am 27. My story is different from a lot of stories on this site. I had the hardest year of my life last year, my engagement broke down, my best friend passed away in a horrific way, I lost my job and I became depressed. At the end of the year I decided to get some help, I moved to a new country, I managed to get a new job and I've met a wonderful person and made some new friends. I managed to make a fresh start and I was finally seeing some light at the end of the tunnel.

Just as I was starting to feel this way, I got contacted by my old landlord saying they have not received any rent from us for the duration of our tenancy and only noticed 3 months after we moved out. We discovered there was a mistake in the account number the rent was going into, and the banks cannot do anything because the person who's account the money went into has spent it. My house mates paid me and the rent went from my account so I am responsible for the mistake and am now being chased for the money. I have been given less than 6 weeks before they start court proceedings because I do not have money like that.

I feel like I am absolutely drowning and feel like I am completely out of options. Just when I was starting to see some hope, I get faced yet an other huge battle. I don't know if I am strong enough to face it so I am now asking for your help. I know there are some very kind people out there. I am not asking you for hundreds or thousands, if enough people contribute just €1 or €5 or even €10 you could change my life and save me from this.
