Please help me compete in Korea

My name is Isabel Shy, and dancing is my passion.

I started dancing ballet at the age of 6 in 2008 as a student at Pink Toes for 6 years before auditioning and receiving a full scholarship at Ballet Philippines Dance School in 2014.

Between 2014-2018 I performed in school shows as well as BP's company productions such as Peter Pan, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, and more.

Getting promoted to an apprentice status in early 2018 I took part in the national tour as a member of Ballet Philippines 2 (BP's junior company) performing excerpts from Ang Sultan as the lead female dancer, and Bungkos Suite.

Unfortunately, after discovering that I had a chronic injury in my knee, I sat out the rest of the company activities in 2018 before resigning in January of 2019. I had to get surgery for my injury and luckily made a full recovery in time to take part in a cultural festival titled "Pangarap Arts Festival" that was put together by Para Sa Sining and brought to Saudi Arabia in December of 2019. Since then I have mainly been teaching classes online and in studio throughout the pandemic.

Recently, I've been getting back into dancing and found interest in joining a ballet competition. I want more than anything to get back into dancing, it brings me true joy and contentment in life.
