I am Ahmed Shameya; I’m 28 years old. I’m a Palestinian from the besieged Gaza strip ,My family consists of 9 members and we live in Extrem poverty.

I have been learning English for more than ten years to reach out to people worldwide to tell them about our suffering in Palestine, especially in the Gaza Strip.

My family lives in extreme poverty caused mainly by the siege imposed on Gaza by Israel for 17 years.

All my family depends on me to bring money as my father is Oldman, and he has LUKEMIA.

Each family in Gaza has its own tragic story! However, here’s my family’s story:

I have been trying as hard as I can to find a job, but the unemployment rate here is more than 65%,

And I couldn’t find a job that would help me feed and build a house for my family.

My elder brother has been suffering from a severe disease named “Alopecia, “which causes hair loss. I also have very poor eyesight, and I LOST my Right Eye; I have Intraocular pressure and Retinal detachment in my left.

We have barely been able to earn money to cover our living expenses. Our life is so horrible. It’s even beyond awful. My heart tore each moment I saw my family dreaming of a decent life, but nothing changed, and things only worsened. We have a large family, and the current house is scarcely livable for a couple. Thus, I feel so desperate and sad that people of my age still sleep in the same room with my other brothers and sisters!

I have been searching for jobs, putting thousands of plans to feed my family and build a suitable house for my family, and dedicating my life to surprise them by proving to them that there is still some hope and I can make a livable place for them BECAUSE WE RENT HOME. But these plans still need to be worked on. For now, I have this final plan, and I hope it will work to form the most fantastic surprise for my family:

A friend of mine has told me recently about launching a crowdfunding campaign, and he said this would help me pursue an absolute dream.
