Please help Mamang walk again (and heal her spine)

Ma. Linda Tan Rivera has been a dedicated preschool teacher for over two decades. After taking advantage of her early retirement from the corporate sector, she was drawn to the field of education by her love of children and teaching. She has devoted her life to the field of education and is known for her passion, enthusiasm, and commitment to helping children reach their full potential.

She has touched the lives of countless students, who have fondly referred to her as "Teacher Mamang", a term of endearment that means Grandma, Lola or Abuela.

Teacher Mamang has been in the hospital now for almost 2 months. She fought her way from being critical to now being in a stable condition. We, her family, are trying our best to match the efforts and strength of our Mamang to win this battle. But after nearly 2 months, we are already financially exhausted -especially that Philippines do not have health insurance for the elderly.

We are asking you to help us assist Teacher Mamang to continue receiving her treatments so she can walk again and have her spine recover. Teacher Mamang has been suffering from complications due to her spinal injury and is still at the hospital. Her medical bills have been mounting quickly. We are aiming to raise PHP 1,500,000 or CHF 26,315.78 or USD 27789.36

These are the doctors' diagnoses:

1. Sepsis due to complicated UTI (recovered)

2. AKI from infection obstructive uropathy, probably secondary to neurogenic bladder

3. Pneumonia

4. Bronchial Asthma

5. Acute to subacute to DVT in the leg, as pirate genexpert negative for completion of antibiotics.

6. Abscess TB PCR continues the medication.

7. Long-term plan antibiotics

-Antimicrobial for spine abscess.

8. Pain management

9. Physical therapy
