HOW IT STARTED
It started in January 2018 as a normal back pain and I assumed at the time, that it would simply go away and that I would feel better in a few days. I WAS DEFINITELY WRONG. Over the next few weeks it became much worse and started to burn. My back didn't really feel hot when I felt it with my hand on the outside but I could definitely feel something burning on the inside.(This scared me a bit). I told people around me but none of them could actually help as they didn't and still don't have jobs so money was a huge issue. After I realised that I was in a hopeless situation I thought I would soldier on through the pain until I could find some way of getting money for a proper visit to the Doctor. Months went by while I was in agony and in November 2018 I finally managed to save up R380 for a consultation with a Doctor and she told me that I may have been injured from one of the activities I was doing in January 2018. Time passed and I saw another Doctor, he told me the same thing the first Doctor told me and said that I would need to have an X-ray when I could(he knew I didn't have money). So I went back home without any treatment I've been drinking painkillers on most days since.
Fast forward to now and it has spread to my legs. It's an intense burning pain that I feel on my back and on the back of my legs. When I saw the first Doctor that one time, she said not getting sleep would make it worse, this puts me in a sticky situation as the pain is the main reason that makes me unable to sleep. It hurts on most days and I try to not tell my mother about it because I don't want her to worry about it and it would be pointless to tell her because she doesn't have money(she lost her job in 2009 and when I tell her about stuff like this she blames herself for not being able to help out). I'd try to make money to get treatment for myself somehow but I can't really do many activities as they just make the pain worse. I can't sit up straight for a reasonable amount of time without feeling pain. I truly feel trapped by this situation with no way out. Pretty please help me out by sharing any amount that you can so that I can finally get checked out and treated.
