By being in the wrong place at the wrong time my husband was arrested 3 weeks ago simply because his lawyer had given him the wrong court date! The city of Tucson has now had him in custody for 3 weeks due to this unknown failure to appear warrant, on a $3500 cash only bond that I can't pay. This for 2 minor misdemeanor charges! His repeated requests to visit with a lawyer have all been denied. I'm in very poor & rapidly declining health & nobody else knows how to care for me; he doesn't deserve to be in jail & I don't deserve to die from the stress! This situation & the pressure it puts on me are too heavy for me to bear, I'm not holding up well & I can't cope! I'm sure the words cruel & unusual both come to mind, huh? My birthday is on the 14th & of the last 18 birthdays this will be the first that I can't share with him! Please please I beg you to donate to Freedom For Freddy so he can come home, I can recover & the justice system can be sent a message that they're supposed to be mindful of a person's ability to pay when bonding them, that although it should be justice is surely not blind. Not when some people & not necessarily the deserving can buy their way out! They cannot ruthlessly bully people & call it upholding the law, that's not how it should be. In fact it's a perversion & a travesty! We need to forcefully remove "the man's" foot from our face so they see they're committing the worst miscarriage of justice themselves!
