Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read my cause. My name is Mark Lander, I'm 38. I plan to study Veterinary Medicine in Europe after completing my Biochemistry degree in the UK. This could be as early as September 2015. What will the money do? ....Well I'm aiming to raise 8000 pounds which will cover at least my accommodation in eastern Europe for the 4 year duration of my Veterinary Medicine degree. I hope to raise most of my tuition fees beforehand and then work part time in eastern Europe to pay for the remaining course fees. As you can see it is all money money money and it can get you down sometimes. I need a little help from people with a heart and understanding. Why should people donate to me?..... Well, accommodation is very important for a stable environment in which to study. This is especially important with such a demanding degree such as Veterinary Medicine. Animal doctors are such important people in our world, where pets are kept in massive numbers globally but especially in the u.k. We play a crucial role in saving, improving and managing the health and lives of many pet animals, which incidentally are treated as a member of the family and therefore valued very highly. I have been involved with animals since aged 9 and it is my destiny to follow a career in Veterinary Medicine because of the passion I hold for animals, science and medicine. What will the donor receive..... OK, no matter if you donate £1 or £1000 I will create a blog of my whole 4 years at Vet school in eastern europe ( the course is taught in English!) which you can read online. If you have children around GCSE or A level age and they have a fondness for animals, then in addition to your own interest, maybe you could show them my blog online which will then hopefully inspire the next generation of Veterinary Surgeons. Thank you for reading this. I hope you will donate as much as you can afford and please ask your friends and family to do the same.
