Please Help Fund A Burn Patient

Last October 24, 2016, Ananias "Buboy" Sacueza Jr., got electrocuted from a nearby power line / high tension wire while he was cleaning debris from a balcony. He was immediately rushed to a Charity Hospital in San Juan for first aid treatment, and later transferred to the Burn Unit of Jose Reyes Memorial, Medical Center in Rizal Avenue, Sta. Cruz Manila. He suffered 2nd and 3rd degree burns in his upper body, arms, neck, and face.

He has been through so much pain. His entire body, arms, neck, and face have to be scraped, scrubbed, and cleaned on a daily basis to remove the burned skin to make way for the healing of the new skin. He has been through a number of operations, while countless bags of white and red blood has been transfused in him, this aside from the many antibiotics, creams, ointments, and fluids that have been prescribed, infused, and applied. Doctors call him a miracle boy as most of the patients who undergo this ordeal, usually have very slim chances of survival in the first weeks.

But Buboy is surviving. He is still fighting everyday to survive, but the expenses have been overwhelming, despite the fact that he is currently confined in a Government Hospital. To date, almost Php450,000.00 has already been borrowed, lent, or donated from kind souls, but all has been spent in the first two months alone, and the hospital expense is not yet included in that figure. Doctor's say that burn patients are usually confined for months, depending on the kind of condition they are in. And even if by God's grace he is released from the hospital, there will be continuing expenses for his maintenance.

Unfortunately, he only makes a meager living as a construction worker, if and when there are available projects that call on him. His current condition and the condition he would be in throughout his path to recovery, might be too big of a task to face. He also has a wife and kid to feed. And everyday that he knows he cannot provide for his family, adds to his emotional pain, aside from the physical pain he is already undergoing.
