Nanay Grace, Ate Grace, Tita Grace

We feel the NEED to continue to do this fundraising for Nanay. I hope and pray that you can read and HELP us reach out to people with generous hearts in these HARD times.

Jolly, free-spirited, thoughtful that's how she was. It is so TRUE when they say "Mahirap ang may magkasaket sa pamilya". After 8 years of medication, countless hospitalizations, several operations, foot amputation, stroke, visual impairment, depression, and CKD5. Just when we thought the CKD5 and having to do dialysis 3x a week was the toughest challenge we will ever have, now COVID hit my nanay.

Last November 4 2021, Nanay Grace was diagnosed with CKD 5 and she needs to undergo dialysis 2x a week. After a month of doing dialysis (December 7, 2021), she got on and off fever and chills after her dialysis and we needed to bring her to ER. Her IJ Catheter got infected, it was changed to Perm Cath and there were more bacterial infection that showed in her lab tests, thus need the management of Infectious Disease Doctor. Her hospital bills are ALWAYS 6 digits and we can hardly keep up. I am resourceful enough to ask help from government and I am thankful for all the help they have provided throughout the years. From our Congressman, PCSO, DSWD, OVP and Philhealth, I have maximized their assistance already.

I am sad that after that infection, Nanay needs to be admitted (December 18, 2021) again because of cellulitis or gangrene debridement. Her bedsores are getting worst despite turning her sides from time to time. The complications are NOT STOPPING. Doctor told me that complications occurring is actually "the course of path" considering her condition. It is devastating but I am doing my best to give her the proper health care she needs.

Just when we are hopeful her body is adjusting with 3x a week dialysis as doctor increased the frequency, her BP and oxygen level is becoming low from time to time and needs to be admitted again in the hospital (January 7, 2022). Sadly, xray shows that she got moderate to severe case of PNEUMONIA and just this morning her rt-pcr swab test showed that she's COVID-19 POSITIVE. She's in an isolation room in the hospital and being treated already with a great team of Doctors.

Our friends, family and relatives have helped us so much already ever since. From sending prayers, caregiving, financial help, any assistance and support they can. We are very very thankful to them.

Now, we are humbly asking again for prayers and financial help for Nanay Grace. She's only 57 and we still want to provide her the best health care we can to extend her life and make her happy. The pandemic badly hit us financially, hospital bills are piling up, dialysis, procedures here and there. Please help us help Nanay Grace so we can put smile on her face once again.
