Hello Everyone! My son, Eric, is a competitive snowboard racer and has been competing in snowboardercross competitions for 10 years. He has won many medals regionally and he was notified today, March 11th that he has qualified to go to the USASA Nationals to compete in boardercross. (https://www.usasa.org/events/nationals/2013-nationals.html)
For those that don't know, Boardercross is snowboard racing. It's been the mainstay of the X Games for years. He is number one in his region in Michigan and 4th overall in the State! We are so proud of him and would love for him to realize his dream of competing at the Nationals.
The competition is held in Colorado March 30th through April 4th. We are working hard to raise the funds to be able to send him to Colorado however, we only have until March 16th to raise the money. This is almost impossible to realize on our own because of the incredibly short time to try to prepare. It would mean the world to him to compete. If you could help, you would be part of a boy realizing his dream! Thank you in advance for your support!
