Please Help Emerito Torrecampo’s Hospital Bills

The family of our deceased Uncle EMERITO TORRECAMPO who live in the Philippines is knocking your kind heart for the hospital bills.

Story:

We live in a very small town in Manila. Others call us informal settlers. Mr. Torrecampo is working as Jewelry Appraiser at Jaro Pawnshop. He has 8 children, 3 of them are still studying in public school somewhere in Manila. He is 52 years old and already been attacked by stroke 3 times in 3 years. He wasn't able to take medicines regularly because of lack of money. His wife Nympha Torrecampo is a plain housewife and take care of their children.

Then the judgement day came to their family this September 2, 2019. Mr. Torrecampo died of Cardiac Arrest. He was admitted August 23, 2019 at Manila Doctors Hospital. But we went first to different hospitals such as San Juan de Dios, PGH, Ospital ng Maynila but they did not accept him because if his critical condition. Then the last hospital was Manila Doctors Hospital which he has been admitted in ICU (Intensive Care Unit) for 2 weeks. The doctors also discovered that his brain is swollen that is why he was comatose. Then he took his last breath on September 2, 2019 in the morning. The total amount of bill from the hospital is Php 623,000.00 or $12,000.00. This amount is very high here in the Philippines. But Mr. Torrecampo is a Member of PWD or Person with Disability and he also has a health card from the company where he is working. Some relatives also lend them money for additional payment for the hospital bills. Now, we still need Php 403,000.00 or $7,800.00. The Hospital is only giving us until October 6 to pay the balance in full or else they will increase the bill of 1.5% per month.
