Please help Ellen build a home for her family

Ellen, my part-time domestic helper, urgently needs to raise funds to build a home for her family. Ellen’s life has been one of constant suffering and misery. She left school at age 14 as her mother could no longer support her and her siblings. She fell pregnant at a very young age, the child’s father and his family refused to assist her with raising the child. She has had to deal with many challenges throughout her life. She now finds herself in the position of having to support not only herself and her minor son, but her two daughters, her grandchildren, her 84 year-old mother as well as her deceased sister’s children. Ellen has now been told by her brother that their mother must vacate the small home she lives in as he can no longer afford to look after her. Furthermore, Ellen’s daughters are unable to find employment, so she also assists them in feeding and clothing their children as the monthly grants they receive from the government barely covers the cost of food for two weeks. She has become very despondent as the financial burden of supporting all these people is becoming unbearable. She is suffering from depression and is also getting ill often. The stress is becoming too much to bear, she has high blood pressure and recently suffered an anxiety attack. We are now trying to raise funds to build a home for Ellen and her family. Through your kindness, we may be able to at least buy the materials to start building a home for her and her family. The amount needed is approximately $3000. Any donation, no matter how small, will help to buy some of the materials. It will definitely help to ease the burden and that way also bring some happiness into her life.
