Please help change the quality of my Little Boy’s life!

My son Quay was 3 years old when he had a vaccination which his body had a reaction to and resulted in him becoming a type 1 diabetic. They call it a vaccine induced disease (VID).
There is no cure for diabetes nor will he ever outgrow it. Instead we do the best we can to manage it and integrate it into our every day lives.
For a 10 year old active boy who is very popular, he seems to do it with ease. He is a very popular and well liked kid. His teachers love him, his family adore him and he is the light of my life.
To the world he is the well adjusted brave little trooper who ploughs through life with a smile on his face, a huge heart and always a hand to lend.
He loves life and all he wants to do when he grows up is be a scientist so he can figure out how to cure this disease and help to make vaccines better so no one else has to suffer.
But as his mother my heart aches for him each and every day I wish I could trade places with him. I dont believe in the what ifs but I find myself thinking it every day. "What if I had not allowed him to have that vaccination!" plays over and over in my head. Because as his mother I know the struggle he has each and every day. I see the very slight flinch of pain. I see his struggle to stay brave and positive when his friends are invited to numerous play dates and sleepovers. They get picked for top teams and even though he is the better player he gets over looked.
I watch as he smiles and is genuinly happy for them or listens to their endless stories of their weekends and play dates.
I cannot blame the parents, teachers and coaches as looking after a normal child is a big responsibility in itself. I cannot expect them to take on one that needs that bit extra.
Wherever Quay goes he goes with his insulin cooler bag, glucose rich sweets, a snack, his glucose monitor and his instructions.
Still as his mother I know the sleepless nights I have checking on him all the time. I can only imagine what another parent would feel like. That is why it is so important to me to get him the Daxcom G5 monitoring system.
This device will change my little boys life and give him the freedom he so craves.
A sensor gets inserted into his skin and it sends constant signal to its monitoring device. A device which he will give the adult he is with, like his teacher, his friends parent or a coach. You can set thresholds and alarms on the monitor. It will tell when he need insulin or when he needs something to eat. It alerts a person to a potential change that could happen. And the best thing of all is that is will send a signal to my phone so I will be able to monitor him now matter where he is or I am.
That way it will be like I am right there and it will give others looking after him peace of mind.
This may seem trivial to you but trust me when I tell you it will change my sons life and if I was not a struggling single mother I would have baught it for him already.

My son deserves to live a little more and have the freedom other kids have. This device gets him that much closer to being able to. The two times he has been invited for sleep overs were more exciting for him than Christmas time.
Please help me to change the quality of my little boy's life.
