My son in law recently had a run of bad luck. He lost his place when living in New York, moved to PA to try to save money, found a job working long hours for small pay, but is content and grateful. Strike 1 hit Last month when his 2005 vehicle transmission finally died. I had to go and rescue him from the highway, having his car towed home. Transmission was dead, quoted a price for repair /rebuild and his heart sank. $5300 is beyond his ability. He borrowed a friend's old car because he didn't want to let his job down. Strike 2 happened when a week later he started feeling sick with fever, headache fatigue and nausea. He has no med insurance so he had no doctor visit but He kept going to work, enduring his illness so as not to lose his job, and finally one morning he woke with his face swollen and eyes unfocused. Having no choice he went to ER and found out he developed bells palsy and is stage 3 with Lyme disease. Now on extremely strong antibiotics and in danger of losing his job because the ER doctor cannot and will not fill out work papers stating he needs to be out on sick leave for a period of time. So he's searching for a way to get papers filled from a family doctor, meanwhike Strike three hit when He has barely been able to climb out of the hole when he received a 3500 bill from the hospital and ER Doctor.

My purpose of asking for help is to just get his transmission fixed so he can have transport to get back to work before he gets fired for simply being sick. Thank you so much for considering helping and If we can raise the money enough, we will be so grateful to all.
