Please help buy a puppy

We are a family of husband, wife and an 8 year old daughter that immigrated to Australia about two years ago as permanent residents. We had a French Bulldog - Bonita. We bought her as a puppy and she lived with us for 3 years. Before moving to Australia we've lived in Thailand. Unfortunately, Thailand is not a permitted country for dog import to Australia, but only 2000 km south of us was Malaysia from where dog import is permitted. Before moving to Australia, we drove Bonita to Malaysia for her first RNAT test and the test was good. After that Bonita lived with us in Thailand for almost another year until we got our visa grant to Australia. During that time we found a family in Kuala Lumpur that would take care of her for 45 days before flight as is required by Australia. We didn't want her to spend all that time in a cage in a dog hotel. Once we've received our visa grant, we drove Bonita back to Malaysia for the final 45 days, received the import permit for Australia and made all arrangements with a vet clinic in KL that would take care of all remaining tests and paperwork. Unfortunately, one of the final test came back positive for Ehrlichia canis antibodies. After contacting Australian authorities in that regard we were told that we can't bring her to Australia. They recommended to try antibiotics for 2 months and see if there is any improvement. We've done that and there was an improvement, but it was not sufficient. At that point they recommended to wait for 2 years and try again. By that point it was about 6 months already that Bonita was living away from us in Kuala Lumpur. It was hell… we couldn’t think of anything else, worrying about it all the time. The family that she was staying with could not keep her any longer as their landlord was threatening to kick them out and the neighbors were complaining. It was of no fault of Bonita as she is very well trained and behaved, but culturally Malaysians see dogs as dirty animals and don’t like them. We had to make a decision and we've decided to send her to our friends in Moscow that love Bulldogs. They already had a British Bulldog and gladly took Bonita into their family. Bonita is absolutely happy in her new family as we can see from almost weekly pictures and videos we get of her. It's us that are suffering.

A family that is missing the warmth of a loving French Bulldog.

We love Frenchies, we know everything there is to know about them and after having one, we would not even consider any other breed.

Our daughter dreams about French Bulldog puppy, but it is very expensive in Australia it cost 6000-8000 AUD. That’s not really for us, because we are working as a cleaner.
