Please help bring our dog home

My son and our family dog left Washington state on October 4,2014 with some friends on what was supposed to be a 3 day road trip. I lost contact with my son on October 8 th. By the 12 th I began a search on facebook to try to find him. Days turned into weeks. Weeks turned into months. My son had gotten seperated from the couple he was with somewhere in florida I finally found him and he had no money and no phone and had also gotten seperated from his dog during a boating accident. He was thousands of miles from home. I located his dog in an animal shelter. He had been there for almost 3 weeks. His costs had already reached over 450 dollars and continued to increase 15 dollars per day. I was able to save enough money to get my son home but sadly I was unable to save enough to bring our dog home. He remains in the animal shelter. They have now put him up for adoption so every day is a chance we could lose him forever. Our dogs name is Cowboy and we miss him and love him and just want him to come home. Our family will not be ok until he is here with us. Every donation gets us that much closer to bringing him home. I can only imagine how scared and confused and abandoned he must feel.
