He lost 3 of his 4 limbs…….Please Help Bahnam Hosseini live a decent life!
Bahnam is an ordinary hourly worker who lives in a village near Karaj and lost his 2 arms and left leg in an accident while working a job on a in Tehran on December of 2020 where he was in an electrical accident. Doctors were forced to amputate both his arms and a week later his left leg. He spent 8+ weeks at Motahari hospital, Section 2, Room2. His arms were amputated in one hospital and his leg at Motahari, where he spent 6+ weeks for recovery. A small group of us who learned of his plight, checked in on the accuracy and then sent a number of local friends to visit him at the hospital while he was undergoing a very difficult recovery process.
We then helped collect nearly $2000 amongst our small group to pay his hospital bill, buy him a special bed and pay for some of his early in-hospital and in-home care.
He NOW needs your help…….
He will need care well beyond the first few months including therapy to cope with his current situation, learn how to do things, a prosthetic leg so he can stand, special transportation device, home modification, and possible contraptions for some sort of arm device to name a few. We have identified a nurse who will do much of this work and are paying for the first few months. His cost, given the cost of care and exchange rate, is not much but he has no funds and no income at the moment and price of special devices are sure to add up.
Please help from $1 to any amount that can to help set him up for a decent life.
Below are some pictures of Behnam at various time and the last video of him when he was moved to his parent’s home.
