Please Help Baby Gabbi

I am Michelle Anne Lucila, presently employed at Philippine Racing Commission as Administrative Aide IV, and a single parent to Baby Gabbi. I am writing this message to ask for your help.

Baby Gabbi was born prematurely on April 3, 2019 and has been at the hospital since then due to complications. We have been trying to raise funds for some time now but unfortunately we are still far from the amount we need.

On Baby Gabbi's first week, the doctors already noticed that her abdomen is bigger than normal and that she was having difficulty with pooping. Last May 6, her Barium Enema test showed that she had a dilated small bowel loops with disproportionately smaller caliber of the colon, for which Ileal Stenosis is considered. May makipot na parte sa kanyang colon kaya hindi nadadigest agad ang gatas nainiinom niya.

Sa una pa lang po, it was already a nightmare for me since the average daily bill of baby is P25,000 to P30,000. She also needs to undergo an operation to remove a part of her colon, and I don't know how we can pay for it anymore. Since last May pa po kami nakapila sa PGH para maitransfer sana dun si Gabbi pero hanggang ngayon ay panglima pa din kami sa pila.

Because of that po we decided na lang na ilipat siya sa Bicol Medical Center sa Naga City dahil una, maiaadmit at mabibigyan agad siya ng medical attention, at pangalawa, mas makakamura po kami sa gastusin doon.

Ngunit hindi po kami makaaalis sa Manila Doctors hanggang hindi po namin nasesettle ang bill na umaabot na halos ng P900,000.

It wasn't my hospital of choice but I had no other option. My water already broke and I was having a 2-3mins interval of contractions. Even during labor, we kept on calling nearby government hospitals to ask if they have any incubator available to accommodate a pre-term baby but didn't find any.

Napakalaki at napakabigat sa bulsa na kahit pagsamasamahin man namin ni papa ang lahat ng financial resources at financial assistance galing sa mga government agencies ay hindi pa din sapat para maisettle namin ang bill dito sa hospital.

I hope you can help me save my daughter. She's been fighting for her life since day one, and I know she can survive this with your prayers and generous hearts. Any amount that you can share will be greatly appreciated.
