US$810.00Donated So Far
This fundraiser is being set up for my aunt
Annabella Valdez. Many of you might remember
that in December 2011 my aunt's son was in a
horrible car accident that left him in a coma and
with a traumatic brain injury. My aunt is a single
mother, sole provider and caregiver to my cousin
Haram. She has spent the past 11 years taking
care of her only child, and while it's been hard, he
is her whole world, and she's dedicated her life to
Last month she started feeling ill and ended up
hospitalized. She had over 5 liters of fluid drained
because her liver has stopped working correctly.
She has been diagnosed with ovarian cancer;
additional tests are being done to determine if it
has spread and at what stage it is.
My aunt does not have the financial means to hire
a caregiver to help with my cousin while she's
unable to care for him, nor is she able to pay for
the deductible and copays for her medical
treatment. She hates asking for help but knows
that she cannot continue without support.
Please help in any way you can. If you cannot help
financially, please help by lifting them in prayer.

I apologize for the long delayed post…On May 27th my aunt woke up to her son screaming and having a fit because she was asleep and there was a strange man in the apartment. He did not recognize our uncle (my aunts brother) and was yelling for him to leave. . . . .

Please continue to lift Annabella Valdez and her medical team up in prayer. Pray for my cousin that really does not understand what is going on even though he is told often. As of right now the official word is that she won’t be released until they lower her potassium. . . . .

My aunt finally got to meet with the oncologist on Tuesday, she has been diagnosed with Stage 3 ovarian cancer. Game plan is to do chemo and then surgery. She also had another visit to the ER Wednesday and they drained 2 liters of fluid again. She was able to. . . . .
