Please Help an orphaned Brother

Dear friends.

My name is Patrick from Zambia born from a now widowed mother of 6 as the first born! I completed high school in the year 2016. It wasn't easy as my mother wouldn't be able to fully support me due to the fact that she's a marketeer and as a single mother she had a lot to take care of at home so I had to work (slashing, helping bricklayers building additional class blocks, dig dirt) for school during holidays in exchange for the school waiving the school fees so I couldn't pay the following term. I did this until i continued my 12th grade. It really was a struggle as I would work almost the whole holiday with little time to study for my exam.

After completing high school, i did my best to obtain a passport so I could apply for government scholarships. I wrote application after application but I was never accepted despite having merits and distinctions in all the subjects. I tried applying for non-profit scholarships like MasterCard but I wasn't accepted either. I tried to apply for public Universities as well and funding but they terminated certain allowances such as food allowances for students under funding, which was a point of worrying for me considering my background as no family member except my struggling mother has been willing to help but her financial state is just not good. Fees for local Universities have increased tremendously. The largest University in our country last year alone increased tuition fees to about 75%. Only God knows how much more increases will be made this year 😔.

I tried moving to a new city (Lusaka) to look for job opportunities so I could fundraise for tertiary education but it's been dead end after dead end. I constantly get frustrated and ask myself if at all I'm just cursed. Not long ago i reached to a point where I thought that I'd sell my kidney so I can at least have some funds to help me enroll for ACCA but I later found an article online as i was trying to search for potential buyers that there's crowd funding and I thought I try it out first.

I had always wanted to be an Electronics engineer but due to lack of sponsors i think of doing ACCA which is more cheaper than the course i originally want so I can get a job and possibly later channel to my dream career path and hence my plea for funding. All i want right now is somewhere to start from so I can help my struggling mother and my siblings.
