Please Help Alex Get To Grad School

"Please Help Me Get to Grad School"   My name is Alexander Martin and I am 21 years old and just graduated with honors with a BFA from West Virginia University, in Morgantown WV.  I have been accepted to Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois, where they have asked me to teach as a graduate assistant.  I am the son of Tina Martin, a single mom who raised myself, my brother, and my sister.  My Mom is the greatest and she has worked hard her entire life to raise the 3 of us with great morals, empathy, and compassion, and always told us to strive to be the best human beings we can be.  She led by example and I watched my mom struggle without complaining, and I honestly don't know how she did it.  You see my mother is in a wheelchair and is oxygen dependent, but she NEVER used that as an excuse.  I have watched my mother fight such physical pain just to get up in the morning, and yet she raised the 3 of us, worked and put herself through college where she graduated Summa Cum Laude from Marshall University with a BA in Communication Education.  Her medical condition continued to worsen and yet she still went back to college to obtain her Masters in Communication.  We were never too far from the poverty line but my siblings and I would never have known it because Mom saw to it that we always had what we needed.  As her condition worsened she became unable to work which made our financial situation even more grim, but we persevered.  I thrived in college and made it through with scholarships and my Mom's help.  She raised us with a great work ethic and so I also worked 2 jobs to help offset the cost of college living expenses.  My school job ended upon graduation, I still work at my other job (Panera Bread), but it has become very difficult to raise the money needed for the move to Peoria and the cost of my student housing/tuition/books etc.  I will be paid a stipend as a grad student teacher but if I can't raise the money for the move and the rest then I won't be able to go in August.  I haven't been able to tell my Mom as I know it would hurt her deeply because she now lives on a fixed income and just doesn't have the money I need even though she would go without to give me everything she had.  I thank God every day for the Mother he blessed me with, and you can ask any of my Mom's former students to see what an impact she had in their lives too.  I'm praying that the kindness of everyone that reads this post will help me raise the necessary funds to get to Grad.
