Campaign Story
Our father, Abdul Khan Saliddin, is currently in the Intensive Care Unit of St. Luke's Medical Center. He was initially rushed to another hospital in Quezon City on March 12, 2021 because of stroke. After numerous calls and rejection from different hospitals for the next 3 days, St. Luke’s took him in and found he is also positive to COVID-19. Several complications that needed immediate attention have also then arisen.
As of March 27, our hospital bill has already reached 1.9M php and is expected to still increase. We wanted to transfer him to a different hospital with less cost but this is not possible due to his current state and most hospitals are in their full capacity.
Our father is fighting for his life. Due to his old age and fragile mind, he isn’t aware of what COVID is and what’s been going on around us. We don’t know when will he recover and we may not be able to be with him physically right now, but we are continuously praying and believing he will pull through this. Whatever we receive from this fundraising will be appreciated and we will eternally be grateful for.
